In addition to Heartland Dredging having the big dredge working out of state, we also have several small dredge jobs in the works. Heartland recently completed a small job for Citizens at South Harding Street. We also started the Meridian Woods Park Upper Basin project which involves dredging approximately 1,800 cubic yards of material. The job has been going well and is nearly complete. The property owners are very happy with the work which could potentially lead to much larger projects in the near future. After completion, we will either roll right into a small job in a Greenwood subdivision or start another small project for Citizens at the Fall Creek plant, if they have the site ready for us. These projects will be followed by a ten day job in Hammond, IN that was supposed to start in the middle of the summer but had to be postponed until fall due to water quality issues. It appears Heartland Dredging will continue to keep busy this month!
